PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Pike County man has been arrested after being indicted on a non-forcible rape charge in Floyd County.

Bryan Cantrell, 30, of Steele, was indicted back in August on a count of second-degree rape. He was not arrested until Monday.

According to the indictment, Cantrell is accused of having sex in April of 2024 with a minor who was younger than 14 at the time.

If convicted, he faces a potential sentence of 5-to-10 years in prison.

Cantrell is currently being held without bond in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.
