
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County couple has been sentenced after pleading guilty to federal drug and gun charges.
Joshua Bryant Allen, 27, and Malinda Sue Mounts, 45, both of Deadening Fork Road at Robinson Creek, each pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth and using a gun in a drug trafficking crime.
In their plea agreements, they admit to selling 56 grams of meth to an undercover informant last December, as well as 40 grams of meth to an informant in January. Police also found them with 127 grams of meth and two firearms during a traffic stop last December.
In court on Friday, Allen was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Mounts was sentenced to seven years.
Both were taken into custody immediately following their sentencing.
