Pikeville Medical Center has announced plans to occupy up to 20,000 square feet of space in the South Side Mall in South Williamson. PMC CEO Donovan Blackburn said on Wednesday that he signed an agreement with the owner of the mall to establish a Primary and Specialty Clinic in the space formerly occupied by Magic Mart and KMart. Work has already begun to transform the space, and Blackburn anticipates opening to the public by the end of September with the first phase of the project, which will be an 8,500 square foot facility.
