Letcher County, KY — The Letcher County Sheriff’s Office is expanding their patrol coverage into the evening hours. According to a press release, beginning Tuesday, May 14th the Sheriff Deputies will be working closely with city Police Department and the Kentucky State Police to extend the police coverage throughout the entire county. Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard will be dispatching calls to the Deputies but if you have an emergency call 911. Also, the Sheriff’s Office purchased a cruiser with fiscal court monies to add to their fleet.
