Father and son face meth charges in Martin County

INEZ, Ky. — A father and son were arrested in Martin County over the weekend, after deputies found a sizable portion of meth during a traffic stop.

Gary Lee Gamble Sr., 65, of Inez, and Gary Lee Gamble Jr., 47, of Paintsville, were stopped around 8 p.m. Sunday. During the stop, officers discovered about 16 grams of meth, along with scales and plastic bags.

Gary Lee Gamble Sr. was arrested and charged with meth trafficking, meth possession and possession of a controlled substance. His son was charged with meth possession.

Both were lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center, in Paintsville.
