PIKEVILLE, Ky. — The Pikeville Police Department was dispatched to Scott Avenue over the weekend in reference to an intoxicated man.
Upon arrival, police say it appeared he was under the influence of methamphetamine. According to court documents the male was covered in sweat and told police he had been walking Scott Avenue all night looking for his light saber he dropped the night before.
He allegedly walked from Brushy to Pikeville in order to find his light saber.
Charles R. Blankenship, 22, of Pikeville, was arrested and lodged in the Pike County Detention Center. He was charged with public intoxication.
