BELFRY, Ky. — Kentucky State Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection to two robberies in the area. Troopers say 47-year-old Timothy Mark Damon of Kimper is wanted in connection to the Tuesday armed robbery at Total Pharmacy Care at Belfry and likely today’s armed robbery at Double Kwik in Justiceville. Damon is driving a black Ford Focus with Arizona tags. Police say if you see Damon, do not approach him, but immediately call Kentucky State Police Post 9 at 606-433-7711.
Around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, a man wearing a mask allegedly walked into Total Pharmacy Care of Belfry, brandished a firearm and demanded prescription medication. According to police, after stealing $30 worth of Xanax pills, the male subject left in a black car and headed in the direction of Route 319.
Thursday, Kentucky State Police received a call of a second armed robbery in Pike County, this time at a gas station convenience store. Troopers tell EKB News they received a 9-1-1 call reporting a robbery at the Justiceville Double Kwik just after midnight this morning.
Troopers say the two robberies are likely linked.
