Technology to convert mine land to farm land demonstrated in Mingo County

HOLDEN, W.Va. — One thing that has held back agriculture in the mountains is a lack of flat land. And while mining leaves behind flat land, it is generally too rocky to be useful in farming. That might be about to change, thanks to new machinery on display today in Mingo County. EKB’s Shelby Porter has a look.
