Several people have been indicted recently on felony charges after knowingly possessing and trying to pass counterfeit money. Many local police departments say they are seeing it also. Officials at the Pikeville Police Department say much of the counterfeit money they have seen is marked with Chinese writing. Anyone who feels they have been given a counterfeit bill is urged to contact their local police department and report it.
