The Pike County Health Department has issued an advisory for patrons of two Pike County business of a possible, low-risk COVID-19 exposure.
The health department is advising patrons of Bank 253 Restaurant and Night Life in downtown Pikeville and of Food City at Shelbiana to consider being tested for COVID-19 if they visited those locations within a week’s span earlier this month. The possible exposure at Food City occurred July 15, 16 and 18, and the possible exposure at Bank 253 occurred July 20, 21 and 22.
The health department is also advising patrons who visited those businesses on those days to consider self-isolating and monitoring themselves for symptoms of COVID-19. The health department emphasized that the risk of exposure is low.
