Today, FBI Special-Agent-in-Charge Amy Hess released a statement about the case.

“As previously stated, we will work diligently to find Mr. Conn and bring him to justice, with the expectation that those who aided in his escape be charged as well,” Hess said. “The indictment shows that we upheld that promise and will not rest until he is held accountable for the lives he impacted and the trust he betrayed. We will continue to pursue Mr. Conn and will bring all available resources to bear until he returns to face the consequences of his actions.”

Curtis Lee Wyatt, Conn’s co-defendant, is expected to appear before a judge tomorrow.
