Sex offender sent back to jail after violation

Joshua Slone

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Knott County man who spent more than a decade in prison after pleading guilty to receiving child pornography will have to spend some more time behind bars.

Joshua Slone, 38, pleaded guilty to downloading child porn in December of 2009. He was sentenced to 156 months in prison and was released last April under lifetime supervision.

In November, Slone admitted to violating his supervision by drinking vodka, getting arrested for intoxication, and failing to report the arrest to his probation officer.

On Monday, final judgment was handed down, ordering Slone to spend an additional four months in prison.
