Slone picked to lead Whitesburg market for Community Trust Bank

PIKEVILLE, Ky. — Daryl E. Slone has been promoted to the position of Whitesburg market president for Community Trust Bank.

That news was announced by Community Trust Bancorp Vice Chairman, President and CEO Mark A. Gooch on Wednesday.

Slone’s responsibilities as Whitesburg market president include providing consumer, residential and commercial lending options to new and existing client relationships by offering financial solutions to individuals and businesses in Letcher County. He will also manage the five branch offices in the market. His office is located at 155 Main Street in downtown Whitesburg.

Slone has worked for Community Trust Bank for more than 27 years. He is a graduate of Knott County Central High School, in Hindman. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Alice Lloyd College, in Pippa Passes.

Slone is active with the Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Ball Creek Volunteer Fire Department in Knott County. He is an active member in Rock Fork Old Regular Baptist Church in Garrett, where he serves as minister, assistant clerk and treasurer. He resides in Hindman.
