Pike County, KY — Asphalt plants are open, and that means paving season is underway in the Kentucky Highway District 12 area. Mountain Enterprises began paving in Pike County this week with KY 2062 (Widow’s Branch Road). On Monday, April 8, the contractor will move operations to KY 2059 (Woodman Road), and on Tuesday to KKY 3419 (Smith Fork/CC Trail). Other routes in this round of paving include KY 3154 (Meathouse Fork), KY 308 (Forest Hills), KY 3418 (Ridgeline Road), and KKY 612 (Turkey Creek). The company should move from one route to another without interruption depending on weather conditions. Flaggers will direct traffic; delays should be minimal.
