PIKEVILLE, Ky. – It’s been nearly a month since the Pikeville 911 Dispatch Center moved into its new location, and officials say it was nearly a seamless transition. The building on Scott Avenue is the former location of a gas station. But, now it has been transformed into a state of the art dispatch center. Pikeville Public Safety Director, Paul Maynard says the decision to move his staff from their former location at the Police Department was a good one. Maynard added the new facility is large enough to accommodate any additional expansion needs for many years to come.
