Three arrested; charged with trafficking in meth

Sunday afternoon, three people were arrested in Louisa after police found meth and scales in the vehicle they were riding in.  According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, 26 year old Jonathan Hall attempted to evade police by driving up a dead end road.  Once the vehicle stopped, the occupants seemed nervous and were moving around inside the vehicle.  Hall then got out of the vehicle and became aggressive to the point he was placed under arrest.  The vehicle belonged to a passenger, 53 year old Bobby Triplett, who gave police consent to search the vehicle. And, when searching the passenger in the back seat, 30 year old Sarah Debord, officers found two “eight balls” of meth in her bra.  In her purse were digital scales and a BB gun designed to resemble an actual firearm.   Since officers had seen all three people in the vehicle handing items back and forth and nobody would claim the drugs, all three were charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.  They were lodged in the Big Sandy Detention Center in Paintsville.
