Three Women Arrested On Theft Charges

Pikeville, KY — Three Perry County women have been arrested on various theft charges. According to the arrest citations, the alleged theft of numerous items occurred Friday evening at the Pikeville Walmart. Pikeville Police arrested 40-year-old Donna Stidham, 35-year-old Crystal Colwell and 35-year-old Theresa Toler all three from the Busy community in Perry County. Pikeville Police responded to a call from Walmart loss prevention officers after the trio left the store without paying for the items which included clothing, tools, candy, food, knives, automotive parts and mirrors. The items totaled $1,403.78. Pikeville Police pulled the trio over on U.S. 23 in Coal Run Village after lost prevention officers provided a description of the vehicle, tag number and direction last seen. After returning to the store, it was discovered that Stidham and Colwell had been banned from the store prior to this incident. The three women were transported to the Pike County Detention Center where Stidham and Colwell were charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500.00 but under $10,000.00 and Burglary 3rd degree. Toler was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500.00 but under $10,000.00 and having an active bench warrant for her arrest. All three remain lodged.
