Two hurt, one arrested after knife attack

KITE, Ky. — Kentucky State Police Post 13 is investigating an apparent knife attack that sent two men to the hospital and a woman to jail.

Police were called last night to a report of three people fighting in the roadway at Mullins Branch, at Kite. Once at the scene, police determined that Kelvin Hall, Justin Caudill and Terri Sutton had been fighting, when Sutton pulled a knife and allegedly attacked Hall with it.

Hall was airlifted from the scene to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment.

Caudill also sustained lacerations and was taken to McDowell ARH Hospital.

Sutton was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. She is being held in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
