Two state pursuit of stolen vehicle lands one man in jail

LOUISA, KY.–It happened early this morning as a Wayne County WV Sheriff’s Deputy notified the Louisa Police Department that he was in pursuit of a possible stolen black pickup truck that was heading into Kentucky. The truck was spotted on Madison Street in Louisa and a short time later spun out while attempting to flee. The driver of the pickup 36-year old Lacy Pack of Inez was quickly placed under arrest. Pack allegedly admitted to stealing the truck after he had attempted to steal two others unsuccessfully. He went on to admit to being under the influence of Xanax and Opana. Pack was charged with DUI, fleeing and evading police and receiving stolen property under 10 thousand dollars. He remains lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
