STANVILLE, Ky. – For hundreds of former clients of Eric C Conn, Thanksgiving took on a whole new meaning Wednesday afternoon after the US Court of Appeals for the 6th District ruled against the Social Security Administration. Nearly a thousand of Conn’s former clients had their benefits stripped three years ago when the SSA decided to subject them to a redetermination process. However, In its ruling Wednesday, the 6th District found that decision unconstitutional. Attorney Ned Pillersdorf has been a leader in the movement to get Conn’s former clients reinstated, and he said he feels their voices are finally being heard.
Pillersdorf will be holding a press conference on the court’s decision Friday at noon at his office in Prestonsburg.
