HAZARD, Ky. — A Perry County man is dead, following a crash yesterday evening.

Roger Clark, 46, of Viper, was driving along Route 7, when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup driven by Matthew Sturgill, 29, of Cumberland.

Clark died at the scene.

Sturgill was treated for minor injuries at Hazard ARH.

No autopsy will be performed and routine toxicology tests are pending. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
