West Virginia Gun Bill Passes

WEST VIRGINIA – A bill proponents say will expand Second Amendment Rights in West Virginia won near unanimous support in the West Virginia Senate late last week. The bill, which would allow employees, customers and invitees of businesses in the state to have and keep firearms inside of their locked vehicles was approved in the Senate by a 32-1 vote on Friday. According to the bill, businesses will not be allowed to even ask if someone has a gun inside of their locked vehicle. Violations could result in a 5-thousand-dollar fine. The previously passed the West Virginia House by an 85-14 vote.
