WHITESBURG, Ky. — Whitesburg Mayor James Wiley Craft has died.

Back in January, Mayor Craft announced that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer and was receiving treatments. He died at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center Tuesday morning, surrounded by family.

Mayor Craft is survived by his wife and three children.

Funeral arrangements are still pending.
