WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — It’s the month of November, and with that, comes ‘No Shave November.’ Those at the Williamson Police Department are participating in the event, and they will also be donating to a worthy cause. Interim Police Chief Grady Paul Dotson says the money the police department typically uses for shaving, such as razors and shaving cream, will be donated to Charleston Area Medical Center’s Cancer Center. Dotson says everyone has been or is currently affected by the disease in some way… and says participating in ‘No Shave November’ will benefit the cancer center in two ways.

If you would like to donate, simply log on to www.CAMC.org/cancer center. Dotson adds some officers will still shave throughout the month, but all have agreed to donate to the cause.
