Regional Police Agency Reports Successful Take-Back Day

Logan County, WV — The National Medication Take Back day was held this past Saturday and one regional police agency is reporting a huge success. The Logan County, West Virginia Sheriff’s Office collected 141.6 pounds of unwanted, unused and expired medication during the 17th annual event. The local event was a collaborative effort of Drug Enforcement Agency, Logan County Sheriff’s Office and the PIECES Coalition of Logan. There are year-round Medication Drop Off boxes located in the Sheriff’s Office, Man City Hall and Chapmanville Police Department.
