INEZ, Ky. — Four people have been arrested in Martin County, for an alleged attack that officials say is the latest in a longstanding family quarrel.

Floyd Maynard, 45; Jennifer Enyart, 35; Megan Bolick, 22; and a juvenile were arrested on a charge of second-degree assault.

Constable Tony Preece said they four are accused of attacking a woman in what appears to be revenge for an assault allegedly committed by her husband. Maynard is accused of holding the woman down while the two women and the juvenile allegedly beat her, poured water on her, and pulled out two fingernails.

Second-degree assault is a felony in Kentucky and is punishable by 5-to-10 years in prison.
