Martin, KY — Officers with the Martin City Police and Floyd County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals while assisting Social Services. According to a press release, Martin City Police Officer Jonathan Holbrooks and Deputy Sergeant Oliver Little were assisting a Social Services representative at the Apartments across from Garth Vocational School on KY 122 in Martin. During that process the Officers arrested 40-year-old Matthew Howard and 29-year-old Vanessa Vanderpool, both from Martin. Both Howard and Vanderpool were charged with second degree Wanton Endangerment. Both were lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
