PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been indicted in federal court for allegedly offering THC for sale.
Zachary Butler was indicted Thursday on a felony charge of possessing THC — the active ingredient in marijuana — with the intent to distribute and a misdemeanor charge of misbranding a consumer product.
Butler is accused of offering THC for sale, without labels detailing its use, origin or contents.
The possession charge carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
A warrant has been issued for Butler’s arrest.
