PAYNESVILLE, Va. — The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office reported the discovery of a body on Friday.

According to a statement released by Sheriff Allen Boyd, the body was found at Woosley Branch. The statement goes on to say that the body has not been identified and the cause of death has not yet been determined.

The body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for examination and identification.
