SOUTH WILLIAMSON, Ky. — A Williamson woman was taken to jail, after crashing her car while allegedly driving drunk with a child in the back seat.

Police were called around 11 p.m. Saturday to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 612 at Turkey Creek.
When the officer arrived, he found the driver, 27-year-old Faith Browning, in the back of an ambulance. She told police she took a curve too fast and lost control of her vehicle.
But the officer detected a strong scent of alcohol on her and asked her about it. She said she had drunk three shots of Jagermeister mixed with Red Bull three hours before driving.
The officer also spoke to an 11-year-old child who was in the back seat and was taken to Pikeville Medical Center with moderate-to-severe injuries. She told police that both Browning and another adult in the car appeared drunk and that Browning was driving very fast.
Browning also allegedly failed a field sobriety test and breathalyzer.
She was arrested for DUI, endangering the welfare of a minor and other charges.
