PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Tennessee man has been returned to Pike County to face charges of rape and incest.

Leonard Dale Baisden Jr., 43, of Kodak, Tenn., was indicted back in February and arrested April 16 in Somerset. He is charged with two counts of first-degree rape of a victim younger than 12, one count of first-degree rape of a victim older than 12, two counts of incest of a victim younger than 12, one count of incest of a victim younger than 18, one count of first-degree sodomy and one count of retaliating against a participant in the legal process.
The charges against him are alleged to have taken place between October of 2014 and September of 2023.
The charges of rape and incest of a victim younger than 12 are the most serious, carrying a potential sentence of 20-to-50 years or life in prison.
Baisden is being held in the Pike County jail on a $500,000 full cash bond.
