MINGO COUNTY, WV.–An Ashland man faces a potential life sentence, after pleading guilty yesterday to child sex trafficking in Mingo County.

47-year-old David Wayne Young pleaded guilty as part of an agreement with the government. Young admitted to engaging in text conversations with Misty Dawn Baisden, of Delbarton. In those conversations, the two discussed Young purchasing nude photographs of a 12-year-old girl. They also discussed arranging for Young to engage in sexual activity with the girl, in exchange for Young providing Baisden with a 14-year-old girl for the same purpose. Baisden pleaded guilty in October to conspiracy to commit child sex trafficking. She also faces life in prison and will be sentenced next month. Young will be sentenced May 1st.
