Health officials confirm 13 additional COVID-19 cases in Pike County

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (MTN) — The Pike County Health Department has confirmed 13 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Pike County, Kentucky.

According to a Facebook post from the department, health officials say these patients include :

  • 41 year old female, symptomatic
  • 37 year old female,symptomatic
  • 25 year old male, asymptomatic
  • 63 year old female, asymptomatic
  • 38 year old female, symptomatic
  • 73 year old male, asymptomatic
  • 54 year old male, symptomatic
  • minor aged female, symptomatic
  • 54 year old female, symptomatic
  • 71 year old male, symptomatic
  • 63 year old female, symptomatic
  • 51 year old male, asymptomatic
  • 19 year old male, asymptomatic

This brings the new total of positive cases in Pike County to 253. Of the 253 total cases, 46 are currently active, 3 are deceased and 204 have recovered.

The health department says that 2 patients are hospitalized and the remaining active cases are recovering from home.

No other patient information has been released.
