A Pike County financial advisor has been named one of the top wealth advisors in Kentucky.

J.C. Hensley, of Pikeville, who is a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Coal Run, has been named to Forbes Magazine’s list of “Best-in-State Wealth Advisors.”

He is one of only 64 financial advisors in Kentucky to receive the honor, and the only one in Eastern Kentucky. Not only that, he is also the first financial advisor from Eastern Kentucky ever selected for the award.

“I feel like this is a good thing for our community,” Hensley said. “It shows you can get this level of care without having to go to Lexington or Louisville. You can get it right here at home.”

Those receiving Best-in-State honors are selected by SHOOK Research, based on in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management.
