Arrest Made In Massive Fire

Logan County, WV — We have an update to a story from earlier this month out of Logan County, West Virginia. Logan Police have made an arrest in the massive fire in the downtown area that occurred on November 8th. 27-year-old Paul David Wiley of Ethel was charged with second-degree arson and according to a criminal complaint in Logan County Magistrate Court, he confessed to West Virginia State Police that he set fire to the Fox Apartment building. The arrest was part of a joint investigation between the Logan Police Department and West Virginia State Police. Wiley’s bond was set at $50,000 cash only and he remains lodged in the Southwestern Regional Jail.
