Mingo County, WV — It was a sad ending in the search for a missing Mingo County man as the body of 71-year-old Jimmy Murphy was found Saturday afternoon in the Sprigg area of Mingo County. West Virginia State Police say Murphy’s body was found in the same area that his ATV was found. Authorities say Murphy had went riding on his 4-wheeler Wednesday and was last seen near the Sprigg Gold Course. Murphy’s body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for determination of the cause of death.
