BREAKING NEWS: Mingo Central golf suspended after positive COVID-19 case

The Mingo County Health Department reported on Friday a low risk of coronavirus exposure at Mingo Central High School.

The case involved a board employee who is involved with the school’s golf program. The individual will isolate per health department guidelines.

Multiple co-workers and golf team members will be quarantined as well.

The risk for all students is low and officials continue to stress wearing facial coverings and practice social distancing are crucial to the recovery.
