PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County man accused of producing child pornography will go on trial June 14. That’s according to an order issued this week by a federal judge.

Robert Preston, 38, of Shelbiana, is accused of threatening a Maryland girl to send him sexually explicit pictures over a three-year period, beginning when she was 13.

He was originally scheduled to go on trial in January, but that was delayed after all court proceedings were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Preston remains held without bond in the Pike County Detention Center.
