COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Wildcats rout NM State in home finale

University of Kentucky quarterback Will Levis passed for 419 yards and four touchdowns as the Wildcats closed out the home schedule with a 56-16 win over New Mexico State at Kroger Field on Saturday.

Running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. added 119 yards on the ground and one score as Kentucky moved to 8-3 and won for the second straight week.

Receivers Josh Ali and Justin Rigg caught a pair of touchdown passes each. Ali had 164 yards on seven receptions. Wan’Dale Robinson had eight catches for 181 yards

Quandre Mosley picked off a pass and return it for a touchdown and backup quarterback Beau Allen capped the scoring with a three-yard run early in the final quarter.

The Wildcats will close out the season next Saturday at Louisville (6-5) in the battle for the Governor’s Cup. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm
