PIKEVILLE, Ky. –  On Thanksgiving Day, hundreds of people gathered at the East Kentucky Expo Center, but it wan’t for entertainment. A group of Pike County churches calling themselves One Church worked alongside each other to deliver and serve thousands of Pike Countians FREE Thanksgiving dinners. Organizers say more than 30 churches were represented, and well over 300 volunteers worked to serve and deliver more than 5,000 meals.  Representatives with One Church say planning has already begun for next year’s event, which they hope will be even bigger and cover a larger area.
