HUEYSVILLE, Ky. — A Floyd County woman with at least two previous drug trafficking convictions has been arrested again on the same charge.

Twila Barnett, 62, of Hueysville, pleaded guilty in two drug trafficking cases back in 2017.

On Monday, officers with the Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement Special Investigations East unit were at her home once again, armed with a search warrant.

During their search, they found what was described as a large amount of oxycodone tablets and a number of items typically associated with drug trafficking. They also found two loaded handguns, despite her previous felony convictions.

Barnett was arrested and charged with first-degree drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a handgun.
