FRANKFORT, Ky. — Coronavirus rates continue to plummet across Kentucky.
The latest numbers show about 4,300 new cases reported over the weekend, which is one-third of the weekend cases reported during the height of the most recent surge back in January. That brings the total to nearly 397,000.
The death toll now stands at 4,447, after 74 more deaths were reported over the weekend.
There are 902 Kentuckians currently hospitalized with COVID-19, including 248 in intensive care and 148 on ventilators.
The positivity rate now stands at 6.72 percent.
