A new repaving project will be taking place this Thursday, September 12th on Caroline Avenue intersecting Main Street and Hambley Blvd in Pikeville. Public Safety Director Paul Maynard says there could be delays if you are driving, but there should be only safety issues while on foot. Maynard encourages everyone to practice safe traveling in this area until construction is complete. He also mentions that there will be more paving projects in the future and that everyone should check the City of Pikeville and Pikeville Public Safety Facebook page for announcements and updates.
