Beginning Monday, April 2, motorists traveling Kentucky Route 292 in Martin County will be experiencing lengthy delays as crews work to repair two embankment failures. Officials with the Highway District 12 Martin County garage say the delays will be near Warfield Elementary School between mile points 15 and 16.  The drilling process on each piece of railroad steel could take up to 30 minutes, which is why the delays are so long.  If possible, motorists are encouraged to take another route this week while the repairs continue.
