Deputies arrest two, seize drugs, weapons and cash in Floyd raid

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Friday night drug raid in Floyd County led to multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, firearms and cash.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Big Branch of Bull Creek, where investigators found a quantity of illegal drugs, digital scales, several firearms and cash believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.

Two people inside the home were arrested as part of the drug investigation, while a third individual was taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

Tyler McKinney, 25, and Heather Slone, 25, both of Big Branch of Bull Creek, were charged with first-degree enhanced drug trafficking.
