PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — Sheriff’s deputies and federal agents descended on a Paintsville clinic Wednesday, but so far, no one is saying what the raid was targeting.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged that they assisted agents from the Lexington office of the Drug Enforcement Administration in executing a search warrant at Appalachian Family Medicine, located on 10th Street.

The sheriff’s office further said that due to the nature of the investigation, no additional information can be released at this time.

Attempts to contact Appalachian Family Medicine for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
