Early voting is under way across the Bluegrass State.
Under state law, anyone can cast a ballot on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the election, but each county sets its own rules for how early voting is conducted.
In Pike County, early voting is taking place at the Pike County Library on Lee Avenue and at the Belfry courthouse. Voting will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Floyd County has four locations for voting — at the Wilkinson Stumbo Convention Center at Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, the Floyd County Community Center in Martin, the county clerk’s Betsy Layne branch office, and the Floyd County McDowell office. Floyd County’s early voting hours are from noon until 8 each day.
