East Kentucky Science Center celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing

The East Kentucky Science Center has various activities planned to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. They will have a new Planetarium show named “CAPCOM GO” starting at 2:00 PM Wednesday until August 3rd, a new display named “Many Inspired Steps” in the Exhibit Hall, and even a display case including Apollo memorabilia from 50 years ago. Lastly, Steven Russo, Director of the East Kentucky Science Center, will be showcasing soil samples brought back from the Apollo missions. You can even have your picture taken while holding these samples as a memento.
