Elkhorn City’s Apple Blossom Festival undergoing some changes

ELKHORN CITY, Ky. –  Spring festival season is just around the corner, and one well known Pike County festival is undergoing a few changes.  Elkhorn City’s Apple Blossom Festival has traditionally been a two or three day festival. However, this year, it was in danger of being cancelled.  But, a local group, led by Pastor Aaron Butler of Elkhorn City Baptist Church, is working to make the Apple Blossom Festival bigger and better than ever. Anyone wanting more information on this year’s festival or to download a vendor application can do so on the event’s Facebook page (Elkhorn City Apple Blossom Festival).  Elkhorn City’s Apple Blossom Festival is Saturday, May 11th.
