LONDON, Ky. — A Harrodsburg man has been found guilty of federal drug and gun charges following his arrest in Paintsville last year.

Aristotle White, 51, was found guilty Thursday of possession of more than 50 grams of meth with the intent to deliver and using a gun in a drug trafficking crime, following a two-day trial.

White was arrested after he was pulled over for speeding in May of 2022, and police dog alerted police to the presence of a large amount of meth in the car, along with fentanyl, pills, paraphernalia, cash and an AR-15 rifle.

Sentencing has been set for April 8, when White faces up to 40 years in prison for the drug charge and a potential life sentence for the gun charge. He is currently being held in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
